The Floods of Ungodly Men

The sorrows of death compassed me, and the floods of ungodly men made me afraid.

Psalm 18:4 KJV

I had the opportunity to stand out at a professing Christian concert event in Oshkosh, WI called Lifest this past week with a brother and sister. This deception brought many blind and deaf so-called “Christians” to so-called “worship God” in wickedness and sin (see the testing here).

Give unto the Lord the glory due unto his name; worship the Lord in the beauty of holiness.

Psalm 29:2 KJV

We didn’t see any beauty of holiness at this event, but rather floods of proud, ungodly men, turned aside to lies.

Blessed is that man that maketh the Lord his trust, and respecteth not the proud, nor such as turn aside to lies.

Psalm 40:4 KJV

While we preached on righteousness, self control, and the judgement to come, we had many tell us to go away.

And after certain days, when Felix came with his wife Drusilla, which was a Jewess, he sent for Paul, and heard him concerning the faith in Christ. [25] And as he reasoned of righteousness, temperance, and judgment to come, Felix trembled, and answered, Go thy way for this time; when I have a convenient season, I will call for thee.

Acts 24:24-25 KJV

But the Lord kept us safe…

And they went out, and preached that men should repent.

Mark 6:12 KJV

The Lord gave us boldness in his Spirit to overcome evil, something that the church-goers willfully deny.

Now when they saw the boldness of Peter and John, and perceived that they were unlearned and ignorant men, they marvelled; and they took knowledge of them, that they had been with Jesus.

Acts 4:13 KJV

This know also, that in the last days perilous times shall come. [2] For men shall be lovers of their own selves, covetous, boasters, proud, blasphemers, disobedient to parents, unthankful, unholy, [3] Without natural affection, trucebreakers, false accusers, incontinent, fierce, despisers of those that are good, [4] Traitors, heady, highminded, lovers of pleasures more than lovers of God; [5] Having a form of godliness, but denying the power thereof: from such turn away.

2 Timothy 3:1-5 KJV

If we weren’t founded upon a rock, the floods of the ungodly men would’ve shaken us, moved us, overcame us, but we overcome by the blood of the Lamb and by the word of our testimony.

And why call ye me, Lord, Lord, and do not the things which I say? [47] Whosoever cometh to me, and heareth my sayings, and doeth them, I will shew you to whom he is like: [48] He is like a man which built an house, and digged deep, and laid the foundation on a rock: and when the flood arose, the stream beat vehemently upon that house, and could not shake it: for it was founded upon a rock.

Luke 6:46-48 KJVS

And they overcame him by the blood of the Lamb, and by the word of their testimony; and they loved not their lives unto the death.

Revelation 12:11 KJV

So glory to God for an awesome weekend of exposing the darkness of Fleshfest! Peace unto all the saints from whom everlasting peace is given. Amen.
